Read the source notes
What backs up the answer?
Use the source that answers your question: the drug record, the care rule or the payment terms.
For approval, start with the drug regulator.
As of September 26, 2026, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) records separate approved products from preparations made to order and medicines without approval.
The FDA compounding explanation says medicines made to order have not had FDA’s review of whether they are safe, made well or work before sale.
For an offer that calls a preparation identical to an approved medicine, read FDA’s explanation of misleading compounding claims.
For a Milwaukee visit, use Wisconsin records.
Wisconsin’s sources were checked October 1, 2026. The Department of Safety and Professional Services, or DSPS, links to licence records and written decisions by licensing boards.
These decisions, called board orders, include penalties for breaking professional rules. Not every order is a penalty; read the decision to see what it says.
The state’s rules for doctors treating patients by video or phone cover licences, health assessments and records as of October 1, 2026.
Pharmacy law requires a Wisconsin licence for an out-of-state pharmacy sending prescribed medicine here.
The order search warns that a decision may be under appeal, meaning a request to review it has not yet been decided. Use the licence lookup for the current licence status.
Ask DSPS to explain a record you cannot follow and whether any current limits affect the person’s work. An appeal alone does not tell you whether to choose that person.
For payment, read the actual terms.
Cost facts were checked September 26, 2026; cash offers and insurance costs describe different ways of paying.
CMS, the agency that runs Medicare and Medicaid, describes the temporary Medicare Bridge program and its $50 monthly payment for eligible people.
The Bridge plan information explains that coupons cannot reduce payments through that program.
The government’s semaglutide (Wegovy pen) page carries the cash offer used in the cost example, with starting-price limits.
Read the price with its limitsFor a concern, choose the right kind of source.
FDA’s medicine concerns page covers false pharmacy names on labels, medicine damaged during delivery and unapproved weight medicines sold with research labels.
MedlinePlus describes severe allergic reaction symptoms and the need for emergency care.
For a personal care decision, ask the person treating you what the source means for your health and the exact medicine.
